Next Athlete Academic Coaching is seeking bright, patient, committed individuals, with a passion for youth achievement to help high school and middle school students succeed in the following subjects:
- English/Writing
- Math
- Physical Sciences
- Earth Sciences
- Foreign Languages
- SAT/ACT Exam Prep
DUTIES
Academic Coaches will meet virtually with prescheduled high school and middle school athletes to provide academic support in their preferred subjects. Academic Coaching sessions are one hour and based on each Academic Coaches availability. Academic coaches will provide session notes and answer any post session questions via email, as well as consult with parents and or coaches. Academic Coaches will also support and participate in our social media efforts, periodically providing study tips and informational videos. Academic coaches may also have the opportunity to participate in virtual events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in or completed bachelor’s degree program.
Strong background and knowledge in relevant subject matters.
Current or prevous college athletic experience.
(Div. 1 - NAIA)
Prior teaching/tutoring experience is preferred but not required.
Ideal candidates for our Academic Coach team will possess:
In-depth knowledge of subject matter
A dynamic and engaging tutoring style
A proactive personality type with a knack for innovation and creative thinking
Effective communication skills
An enthusiasm for learning
